Telmisartan (Telista-H) is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist. Telmisartan (Telista-H) keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. Hydrochlorothiazide (Telista-H) and Telmisartan (Telista-H) is a combination medicine used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Hydrochlorothiazide (Telista-H) and Telmisartan (Telista-H) is usually given after other hypertension medications have been tried without successful treatment. Hydrochlorothiazide (Telista-H) and Telmisartan (Telista-H) may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Telpres H Tablet 15's is not recommended for people with impaired kidney function, diabetes or severe liver problems. Telpres H Tablet 15's may increase the risk of low blood pressure when taken with alcohol. Telpres H Tablet 15's may cause tiredness or dizziness in some people. Make sure you are not affected before driving. Breastfeeding women are advised to consult a doctor before taking Telpres H Tablet 15's. Avoid intake of potassium supplements with Telpres H Tablet 15's as it may lead to high potassium levels in the blood, so the doctor may ask you to have a regular check of your potassium level. Do not consume alcohol with Telpres H Tablet 15's as it may increase the risk of low blood pressure. Taking Telpres H Tablet 15's with painkillers (like aspirin and ibuprofen) can increase the risk of kidney problems and reduced efficiency of Telpres H Tablet 15's.
