Description:

Deviry is used to prevent pregnancy. It is a birth control method that works by stopping a woman's egg from fully developing each month. The egg can no longer accept a sperm and fertilization is prevented. No contraceptive method is 100 percent effective. Birth control methods such as having surgery to become sterile or not having sex are more effective than birth control pills. Discuss your options for birth control with your doctor. This medicine does not prevent AIDS or other sexually transmitted diseases. It will not help as emergency contraception, such as after unprotected sexual contact. Deviry Injection is also used with other medicines to help relieve symptoms of inoperable, recurrent, and metastatic (cancer that has already spread) endometrial or kidney cancer. This medicine is to be administered only by or under the immediate supervision of your doctor.

Uses / Indications:

Deviry Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Irregular menstrual periods, Abnormal uterine bleeding, Infrequent menstrual periods, Irregular menstruation, Abnormal bleeding from the uterus.

Side Effects:

Signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Call your doctor at once if you have: menstrual periods that are heavier or longer than normal, severe pain in your lower stomach, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet, pain, bleeding, or oozing (pus) where the Injection was given, symptoms of depression (sleep problems, weakness, mood changes), liver problems--Nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, tired feeling, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), signs of a stroke--sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body), sudden severe headache, slurred speech, problems with vision or balance, signs of a blood clot in the lung--chest pain, sudden cough, wheezing, rapid breathing, coughing up blood or signs of a blood clot in your leg--pain, swelling, warmth, or redness in one or both legs. Common side effects may include: changes in your menstrual periods, weight gain, headache, dizziness, mild stomach pain or feeling weak, tired, or nervous.

Medicine interaction:

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Deviry Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Deviry Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products: Acitretin, Amprenavir, Bexarotene, Boceprevir, Bosentan, Bridion, Etretinate, Fosamprenavir, Isotretinoin, Mycophenolic acid.
