Xygrel is a selective adenosine diphosphate (ADP) receptor antagonist acting on the P2Y12 ADP-receptor that can prevent ADP-mediated platelet Activation and aggregation. Xygrel reversibly interacts with the platelet P2Y12 ADP-receptor.Xygrel does not interact with the ADP binding site itself, but interacts with platelet P2Y12 ADP-receptor to prevent signal transduction.Thus it prevents platelet Activation and aggregation.

You should avoid taking Xygrel 90 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to Xygrel 90 Tablet 10's and Active and inActive ingredients present in it. Let your doctor know if you have a medical condition that is causing bleeding such as haemophilia, stomach ulcer or bleeding with your head or bowel. Caution is required before giving Xygrel 90 Tablet 10's to the kidney or liver problems patients. People affected with respiratory problems like asthma, nasal polyps or rhinitis should consult a doctor before intake of Xygrel 90 Tablet 10's. Xygrel 90 Tablet 10's is not recommended for the breastfeeding mother as it passes into the breast milk. The safety and effectiveness in children less than 18 years of age not been established , so Xygrel 90 Tablet 10's should not be given to them.
