Macpril 2.5mg Tablet belongs to the therapeutic classification of ACE Inhibitors / Direct Renin Inhibitors. The primary composition for this medicine is Ramipril 2.5 MG.

Do not take Macpril 2.5 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents. Talk to your doctor if you have heart, kidney or liver problems. Macpril 2.5 Tablet 10's may sometimes cause a decrease in blood pressure than normal, especially in dehydrated people, are taking diuretics (medicines to treat oedema) and low levels of sodium. Regularly check your blood pressure levels to avoid any risk. Avoid taking Macpril 2.5 Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Talk to your doctor, he/she may prescribe you with alternate medicine. Macpril 2.5 Tablet 10's is not recommended for children below 18 years of age as the efficacy and safety have not been established. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking and about your health condition to rule out any unpleasant side-effects. Consult your doctor if you have lost a lot of body fluids through vomiting, diarrhoea or sweating more than normal or if you are taking low water tablets to treat oedema (diuretics), or if you undergo dailysis. Stop taking Macpril 2.5 Tablet 10's one day before receiving an anaesthetic to undergo any surgery or dental procedure. Inform your doctor that you are taking Macpril 2.5 Tablet 10's. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, electrolyte levels and kidney functioning is advised while taking Macpril 2.5 Tablet 10's.
