Description:

Surbex-XT nasal spray contains Cyanocobalamin, a man-made form of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. Surbex-XT nasal spray is used to treat vitamin B12 deficiency in people with pernicious anemia and other conditions. Surbex-XT nasal spray is usually given after treatment with an Injection form of this medicine. Surbex-XT may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Uses / Indications:

Surbex Xt Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Vitamin b 12 deficiencies Skin infection Weight loss High cholesterol Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy, or childhood Type 2 diabetes Addisonian anemia Folic acid deficiency Vitamin b3 deficiency Heart disease

Side Effects:

Constipation, diarrhea, or upset stomach may occur. These effects are usually temporary and may disappear as your body adjusts to this medication. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly. If your doctor has prescribed this drug, remember that he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of the following symptoms of a serious allergic reaction: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
