Uses / Indications:
Orofer Capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
Iron deficiencies
Anemia
Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy, or childhood
Anaemia
Increased requirement of folate in the body during pregnancy
Poor absorption of food
Treatment of megaloblastic anemias due to a deficiency of folic acid
Poor diet
Interactions / Warnings:
Do not take Orofer Capsule 10's if you are allergic to Orofer Capsule 10's, iron, folic acid, or any of the ingredients of Orofer Capsule 10's. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor. Orofer Capsule 10's is generally given at least 4 weeks before pregnancy and is continued up to 3 months of pregnancy. Also, if giving Orofer Capsule 10's to a child, a child specialist's dose will be decided as an overdose of Orofer Capsule 10's in children can lead to deadly poisoning. If you have got any part of the stomach removed, please inform your doctor before taking Orofer Capsule 10's.
