Description:

Nurokind-OD also contains the following inActive ingredients: Lactose, maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone (K-30), purified talc, anhydrous colloidal silica, hypromellose, macrogol, titanium dioxide, isopropyl alcohol, dicholoromethane, red iron oxide and yellow iron oxide.

Uses / Indications:

Nurokind OD Tablet is used to treat nerve damage mainly in the hands and feet. This medicine works by binding to a specific cell site and plays an important role in the synthesis of nucleic acid and protein.

Interactions / Warnings:

Do not take Nurokind OD Tablet 20's if you are allergic to vitamin B12 or cobalt. To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Nurokind OD Tablet 20's for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Please do not stop taking Nurokind OD Tablet 20's without consulting your doctor. Do not take Nurokind OD Tablet 20's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. Nurokind OD Tablet 20's should be given to children as advised by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you have low levels of potassium in the blood, and iron or folic acid deficiency, or if you have/had optic nerve damage.

Side Effects:

The most frequent adverse effect of nondepolarizing blocking agents as a class consists of an extension of the pharmacological action beyond the time needed for surgery and anesthesia. This effect may vary from skeletal muscle weakness to profound and prolonged skeletal muscle paralysis resulting in respiratory insufficiency and apnea which require manual or mechanical ventilation until recovery is judged to be clinically adequate. Inadequate reversal of neuromuscular block from Nurokind-OD (doxacurium chloride) is possible, as with all nondepolarizing agents. Prolonged neuromuscular block and inadequate reversal may lead to postoperative complications.

Medicine interaction:

Chloramphenicol (antibiotic), colchicine (used to treat gout); medicines that reduce stomach acid such as cimetidine, Nexium, omeprazole, lansoprazole, Zantac, Prevacid, Prilosec, pantoprazole.
