Description:

Cyanocobalamin is a man-made form of Mcbm. Mcbm is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. Cyanocobalamin is used to treat Mcbm deficiency in people with pernicious anemia and other conditions. Cyanocobalamin may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Uses / Indications:

Mcbm 69 Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy, or childhood Increased requirement of folate in the body during pregnancy High cholesterol Pain in extremities Loss of sensation Anemia due to folic acid deficiency Treatment of megaloblastic anemias due to a deficiency of folic acid Low hemoglobin Heart disease Low haemoglobin Mcbm 69 Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed here.

Interactions / Warnings:

Inform your doctor if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food). This disease may make it hard to absorb B complex vitamins when given orally. Your doctor may prescribe other dosage forms in such cases. Let your doctor know if you have any blood disorders like pernicious anaemia before starting MCBM 69 Tablet 15's. Pyridoxine and folic acid in MCBM 69 Tablet 15's are excreted into the breast milk. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking MCBM 69 Tablet 15's. Excessive alcohol consumption reduces absorption and increases the elimination of folic acid. Alcohol can also worsen the side effects like drowsiness and stomach upset. Hence, please avoid alcohol while using MCBM 69 Tablet 15's.

Side Effects:

Signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Call your doctor at once if you have: numbness or tingling in your hands or feet, signs of fluid build-up around your lungs--anxiety, sweating, pale skin, severe shortness of breath, wheezing, gasping for breath, cough with foamy mucus, chest pain or signs of low potassium--confusion, uneven heart rate, extreme thirst, increased urination, leg discomfort, muscle weakness or limp feeling. Common side effects may include: swelling, rapid weight gain, diarrhea or itching or mild rash.

Medicine interaction:

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Mcbm 69 Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions.
