Information about Homochek Capsule

Description:

Homochek nasal spray contains Cyanocobalamin, a man-made form of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. Homochek nasal spray is used to treat vitamin B12 deficiency in people with pernicious anemia and other conditions. Homochek nasal spray is usually given after treatment with an Injection form of this medicine. Homochek may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Uses / Indications:

Homocheck Capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Clogged arteries High cholesterol Vitamin b 12 deficiencies Heart disease Deficiency of vitamin b12 Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy, or childhood Folic acid deficiency Addisonian anemia Small bowel bacterial overgrowth Stomach and intestine problems Homocheck Capsule may also be used for purposes not listed here.

Interactions / Warnings:

Do not take Homochek Capsule 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents. Inform your doctor before taking Homochek Capsule 10's if you have heart disease, diabetes, bleeding disorders, stomach/intestinal problems, kidney or liver problems. Consult a doctor before taking Homochek Capsule 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Homochek Capsule 10's should be given to children only if prescribed by the doctor. It is unknown if alcohol interacts with Homochek Capsule 10's, so please consult a doctor. Let your doctor know if you are taking prescription, non-prescription drugs, or herbal products before starting Homochek Capsule 10's.

Side Effects:

Signs of an allergic reaction to Homochek: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Call your doctor at once if you have signs of low potassium--confusion, uneven heart rate, extreme thirst, increased urination, leg discomfort, muscle weakness or limp feeling. Common Homochek side effects may include: runny nose, sneezing, stuffy nose, sinus pain, sore throat, cough with mucus, headache, dizziness, joint pain or itching or rash.

Medicine interaction:

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Homocheck Capsule may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Homocheck Capsule may interact with the following drugs and products: Alcohol Barbiturates Chloramphenicol Cholestyramine Colchicine Diphenylhydantoin Epoetin Glucose Isoniazid Levodopa
