Folvite Tablet is used for Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, Pregnancy, Infancy, Or childhood, Treatment of megaloblastic anemias due to a deficiency of folic acid, Increased requirement of folate in the body during pregnancy, Anemia due to folic acid deficiency, Poor absorption of food, Poor diet, Folate deficiency and other conditions.Folvite Tabletmay also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Folvite Tabletcontains Folic Acid as an Active ingredient. Folvite Tabletworks by acting on megaloblastic bone marrow to produce a normoblastic marrow.

If you are allergic to Folvite Tablet 45's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid taking Folvite Tablet 45's if you have cancer. Folvite Tablet 45's should be used with caution in children and only if prescribed by a doctor. If you are breastfeeding, please consult a doctor before using Folvite Tablet 45's. If you have pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to lack of vitamin B12), tumour or if you are receiving a stent in the heart or undergoing haemodailysis due to kidney failure, inform your doctor before taking Folvite Tablet 45's. You are recommended to maintain a time gap of a minimum of 2 hours between taking Folvite Tablet 45's and indigestion remedies such as antacids containing magnesium or aluminium and edible clay. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any sugars as Folvite Tablet 45's contains lactose.
