Description:

Folinext Tablet belongs to the therapeutic classification of Vitamin Supplements. The primary composition for this medicine is Folic acid 5 MG, Mecobalamin 750 MCG.

Uses / Indications:

Folinext Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy, or childhood Anaemia Numbness and tingling Increased requirement of folate in the body during pregnancy Anemia Pain in neurological disorders Treatment of megaloblastic anemias due to a deficiency of folic acid Nerve damage Anemia due to folic acid deficiency Poor diet

Interactions / Warnings:

Before taking Folinext Tablet 30s, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, cancer, obesity, neural tube defects, kidney problems, hypokalemia (low levels of potassium), and optic nerve damage. Do not take antacids before or after 2 hours of taking Folinext Tablet 30s as they may interfere with the action of Folinext Tablet 30s. Do not consume excess alcohol while using Folinext Tablet 30s as it may interfere with the drug absorption in the body.

Side Effects:

Signs of a very bad reaction to the drug. These include wheezing, chest tightness, fever, itching, bad cough, blue or gray skin color, seizures or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Any rash. Side effect or health problem is not better or you are feeling worse.

Medicine interaction:

Folinext Tablet 30s may interact with an antibiotic (chloramphenicol), anticancer agent (methotrexate and fluorouracil), anti-gout medicine (colchicine), antacids (cimetidine, omeprazole, lansoprazole, and ranitidine), a medicine used to treat diabetes (metformin), a medicine used to treat inflammatory bowel conditions (sulfasalazine), a medicine used to reduce cholesterol (cholestyramine), and antiepileptic drugs (phenytoin and fosphenytoin).
