Description:

L-Carnitine is used to prevent and treat a lack of L-Carnitine. It is used to prevent and treat this condition in patients with kidney disease on dailysis. It is given to people whose body cannot properly use L-Carnitine from their diet. Lack of L-Carnitine can lead to liver, heart, and muscle problems. Your doctor may treat lack of L-Carnitine by prescribing L-Carnitine for you. L-Carnitine comes in two forms. L-Carnitine should not be confused with the D,L-L-Carnitine form (labeled as “vitamin B T”'). Only the L-form of L-Carnitine is used by the body to treat serious L-Carnitine deficiency. The D,L-form does not help the body use fat and can actually interfere with and cause a lack of L-Carnitine. Certain L-Carnitine products have been specifically approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for medical use and are available only with your doctor's prescription. Once a medicine has been approved for marketing for a certain use, experience may show that it is also useful for other medical problems. Although this use is not included in product labeling, L-Carnitine is used in certain patients with the following medical condition: L-Carnitine deficiency that results from treatment with valproic acid

Uses / Indications:

B 29 Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Pain in extremities, Adjunct therapy in severe muscle tightness, Diabetic polyneuropathy, High cholesterol, Mental disorders, Decrease in muscle mass, Burning mouth syndrome, Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy, or childhood, Loss of sensation, Weight loss.

Side Effects:

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention. Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur: More common: High blood pressure. Less common: Fast heartbeat, fever, Rare, Seizures. Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects. Check with your health care professional if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them: More common: Abdominal or stomach cramps, diarrhea, headache, Nausea or vomiting, Less common: Abdominal discomfort, body odor, depression, dizziness, impaired vision, loss of appetite or weight, swelling in hands, lower legs, and feet, tingling sensation, weakness.

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of B 29 Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. B 29 Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products: Alcohol, Armour Thyroid, Barbiturates, Chloramphenicol, Cimetidine, Colchicine, Digoxin, Diphenylhydantoin, Famotidine, Furosemide.
