Pirfetab Tablet is used for Chronic fibrotic and inflammatory lung disease, Mild to moderate idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and other conditions. Pirfetab Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Pirfetab Tablet contains Pirfenidone as an Active ingredient. Pirfetab Tablet works by reducing fibroblast growth and production of inflammatory chemicals.

Do not take Pirfetab 801 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents; if you have a severe or end-stage liver impairment or kidney disease requiring dailysis; if you are taking fluvoxamine (anti-depressant). Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines that might make you photosensitive; if you smoke or have kidney or liver problems. Consult your doctor before taking Pirfetab 801 Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Pirfetab 801 Tablet 10's may cause tiredness and dizziness, so drive with caution. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Pirfetab 801 Tablet 10's as it could lead to increased dizziness. Pirfetab 801 Tablet 10's is not recommended for children below 18years as the safety and effectiveness has not been established.
