Description:

This medication is a long-acting bronchodilator, prescribed for asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD). It widens air passage and helps in easy breathing.

Uses / Indications:

Glycohale FB Rotacaps 3x10's belongs to the group of medicines called bronchodilators indicated for long-term, maintenance treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchial tube lining). In COPD, the muscles around the airways tighten, making it difficult to breathe.

Interactions / Warnings:

Do not take Glycohale FB Rotacaps 3x10's if you are allergic to any of its contents. Inform your doctor if you have asthma, heart problems, seizures/epilepsy, thyroid gland problems, diabetes, narrow-angle glaucoma, kidney problems, severe liver problems, if you have any difficulty in passing urine or if you are taking any medicines for lung diseases. Consult your doctor before taking Glycohale FB Rotacaps 3x10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Glycohale FB Rotacaps 3x10's may cause dizziness, so drive with caution. Avoid consuming alcohol as it might cause increased dizziness. Glycohale FB Rotacaps 3x10's is not recommended for children below 18years as the safety and effectiveness have not been established.

Indigestion, High blood pressure, Nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages), Chest pain, Fever, Urinary retention, Sore throat, Cough, Headache, Dizziness, Increased glucose level in blood, Allergic reaction, Sinus inflammation, Inflammation of the nose, Urinary tract infection.

Medicine interaction:

Glycohale FB Rotacaps 3x10's may have interaction with antibiotics (erythromycin, Clarinathromycin, telithromycin), beta-blocker (timolol, atenolol, propranolol), xanthine (theophylline), diuretics (furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide), steroids (prednisolone).
