Description:

Ascoril D Plus Syrup 100ml belongs to the therapeutic classification of Mydriatic Drugs, Nasal antihistamines and decongestants, Cough and Cold Medicines, Antihistamines and Antiallergics. The primary composition for this medicine is Chlorpheniramine maleate 2 MG, Dextromethorphan 10 MG, Phenylephrine 5 MG /5ML.

Uses / Indications:

Ascoril Plus D Syrup is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Temporarily relief of cough caused by common cold, flu, or other conditions Allergy Intraocular tension Common cold Bruising Pain in arthritis Pain in shoulder joint Dry cough Nasal decongestant Hypotensive conditions

Interactions / Warnings:

If you are allergic to Ascoril D Plus Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Ascoril D Plus Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml. Ascoril D Plus Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml is not recommended for children below 12 years of age. If you are about to undergo any medical tests or surgery, please inform your doctor that you are taking Ascoril D Plus Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml. Avoid taking Ascoril D Plus Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml if you have taken medicines such as linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, rasagiline, isocarboxazid, tranylcypromine and methylene blue injection in the past 14 days. Drink plenty of fluids while taking Ascoril D Plus Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml to loosen mucus. If you have glaucoma, urinary problems, enlarged prostate, phenylketonuria (a birth defect that causes accumulation of amino acid, phenylalanine in the body), cough with mucus or cough caused by asthma, smoking, chronic bronchitis or emphysema (a lung condition causing shortness of breath), inform your doctor before taking Ascoril D Plus Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml.

Side Effects:

Feeling lightheaded, sleepy, having blurred eyesight, or a change in thinking clearly. Avoid driving and doing other tasks or actions that call for you to be alert or have clear eyesight until you see how this drug affects you. Headache. Dry mouth. Good mouth care, sucking hard, sugar-free candy, or chewing sugar-free gum may help. See a dentist often.

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Ascoril Plus D Syrup may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions.
