Oncolet Tablet is used to treat is given as combined treatment in women with permanent discontinuance of periods (postmenopausal women) with hormone receptor-positive early and as permanent discontinuance of periods with hormone receptor-positive or hidden advanced breast cancer. Oncolet is also given with other long-term medicines to treat postmenopausal women with advanced breast cancer who have experienced earlier standard combined tamoxifen therapy. It is a prescription medicine. This medicine works by decreasing the level of estrogen produced by the body. Therefore, slowing or stopping the growth of many types of breast cancer cells which need estrogen to grow. Aromatase Inhibitors Oncolet belongs to a class of medicines called Aromatase Inhibitors. Aromatase inhibitors are a class of drugs used in the treatment of breast cancer in post-menopausal women and swollen breast in men. They may also be used for the prevention of cancer in high-risk women.

Do not take Oncolet 2.5 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents, not yet gone through menopause (still get your periods). To treat you condition effectually continue taking Oncolet 2.5 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Do not stop Oncolet 2.5 Tablet 10's midway. Avoid taking Oncolet 2.5 Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Oncolet 2.5 Tablet 10's causes drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Oncolet 2.5 Tablet 10's should not be given to children as the safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Oncolet 2.5 Tablet 10's as it could lead to increased drowsiness and dizziness.
