Femistra is used as a primary treatment for locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer in women with hormone receptor-positive or unknown hormone receptor. It can also be used for the treatment of advanced breast cancer with grown cancer after tamoxifen therapy in postmenopausal women. This medicine works by preventing natural substance and reducing the estrogen synthesis in the body. When not to use Femistra will not work to treat breast cancer in premenopausal women.
