Uses / Indications:

Tobacin Drops is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Bacterial infections of eyes Bacterial infections of brain Bacterial infections of the skin Bacterial infections of heart Bacterial infections of stomach Bacterial infections of spinal cord Bacterial infections of lungs Bacterial infections of urinary tract Hereditary disorder affecting the exocrine glands

Interactions / Warnings:

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Tobacin Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml, other aminoglycoside antibiotics, or any other ingredients present in it. Inform your doctor if you are using any prescription, nonprescription medications, nutritional supplements, or herbal products. Inform your doctor if you are using other antibiotics, antifungal medication, diuretics, general anaesthetics, chemotherapeutic agents, immune suppressants, and medications used to treat muscle weakness. Inform your doctor if you have any history of myasthenia gravis, Parkinson’s diseases, kidney problems, and eye problems. Inform your doctor if you have any vision problems after using this medication. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until your vision stabilizes. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness)

Medicine interaction:

Tobacin Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml may interact with other antibiotics (vancomycin, gentamicin, kanamycin, streptomycin, and cephalothin), diuretics (ethacrynic acid and furosemide), antifungal medication (amphotericin-B), general anesthetics, anti-cancer medicine (cisplatin), immune suppressant (ciclosporin), and medications used to treat muscle weakness (neostigmine and pyridostigmine).
