Description:
Pyzina belongs to the family of medicines called anti-infectives. It is used, along with other medicines, to treat tuberculosis (TB).
To help clear up your tuberculosis (TB) infection completely, you must keep taking Pyzina for the full time of treatment, even if you begin to feel better. This is very important. It is also important that you do not miss any doses.
Pyzina is available only with your doctor's prescription.

Interactions / Warnings:
Brief your medical history if you have any liver or kidney diseases, diabetes, gout, high uric acid level in the blood, lactose intolerance, alcohol use and undergoing dailysis treatment. Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Pyzina 500 Tablet 10's or its components. Pyzina 500 Tablet 10's gets converted in the body to Pyrazinoic acid that blocks the excretion of urates (salt form of uric acid) by the kidneys. Increased blood levels of uric acid (hyperuricemia) causes pain, swelling, redness and stiffness in joints (gout). Hence, Pyzina 500 Tablet 10's should be avoided if you have a history of gout. Let your doctor know if you are undergoing any vaccinations with live bacterial vaccines (like typhoid vaccine) since Pyzina 500 Tablet 10's may affect vaccine's Activity. Pyzina 500 Tablet 10's is released into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. Please consult your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or a breastfeeding mother. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Pyzina 500 Tablet 10's as it might lead to liver problems. Store Pyzina 500 Tablet 10's below 25°C away from direct sunlight.
