Oflomac Tz Tablet belongs to the therapeutic classification of Antiprotozoal Agents, Antiamoebic Drugs, Quinolones, Anti-Infectives and Ophthalmic Agents, Anti-Infectives and Ear Medications. The primary composition for this medicine is Ofloxacin 200 MG, Tinidazole 600 MG.
Uses / Indications:
Oflomac TZ Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
Vaginal or stomach infections
Bacterial infections
Womb lining infections
Skin infections
Respiratory infections
Sexually transmitted infections
Gums infection
Bacterial infections by inflammation of the peritoneum
Urinary tract infections
Soft tissue infections
Interactions / Warnings:
Do not take OFLOMAC TZ TABLET if you are allergic or have had a severe reaction to ofloxacin or any other quinolone or fluoroquinolone antibiotics such as delafloxacin, gemifloxacin, levofloxacin, moxifloxacin, and ciprofloxacin. Taking OFLOMAC TZ TABLET may increase the chances of developing tendinitis (swelling of a fibrous tissue that connects a bone to a muscle) or have a tendon rupture (tearing of a fibrous tissue that connects a bone to a muscle). Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had a kidney, heart, or lung transplant, kidney disease, a joint or tendon disorder such as rheumatoid arthritis (an autoimmune condition of joints causing pain, swelling, and loss of function), seizures (fits), epilepsy or if you participate in regular physical Activity. Taking OFLOMAC TZ TABLET may worsen muscle weakness in people with myasthenia gravis (a nervous system disorder that causes muscle weakness) and cause severe difficulty breathing or death. Dairy products should be avoided along with OFLOMAC TZ TABLET. And also, exposure to sunlight should be avoided while taking OFLOMAC TZ TABLET as it may cause increased phototoxicity or photosensitivity. Patients with epilepsy and irregular heartbeat (QT prolongation) should tell their doctor before taking OFLOMAC TZ TABLET.
