Interactions / Warnings:

Severe allergic reactions may be reported in patients taking Novamox 250 DT Tablet 15's, including raised itchy skin rashes, wheezing, chest tightness, and coughing. Taking Novamox 250 DT Tablet 15's may cause antibiotic-induced diarrhoea in some cases. Penicillin antibiotics, blood thinners (warfarin, coumadin), uric acid-lowering drugs (allopurinol, probenecid), and anti-cancer or anti-arthritis drug (methotrexate) may severely interact with Novamox 250 DT Tablet 15's. Tell your doctor if you have chronic kidney disease, viral glandular fever (mononucleosis) before taking Novamox 250 DT Tablet 15's. This medicine may lower the efficiency of oral birth control pills or contraceptives devices. An intake of Novamox 250 DT Tablet 15's may alter some glucose urine tests like the copper reduction test report.

Side Effects:

Allergic reactions: urticaria, erythema, edema Quincke, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, rarely - fever, joint pain, eosinophilia, in rare cases - anaphylactic shock. Side effects associated with chemotherapy effect: possible development of super-infection (particularly in patients with chronic diseases or low resistance of the organism). With prolonged use at high doses: dizziness, ataxia, confusion, depression, peripheral neuropathy, seizures. Mostly when Novamox DT Pharmaniaga used in combination with clavulanic acid: cholestatic jaundice, hepatitis, rarely - erythema multiforme, toxic epidermal necrolysis, exfoliative dermatitis.

Medicine interaction:

Drug-Drug Interactions: Novamox 250 DT Tablet 15's may interact with blood thinners (e.g. warfarin, coumadin), uric acid-lowering drugs (e.g. allopurinol, probenecid), and anti-cancer or anti-arthritis drugs (e.g. methotrexate), and other antibiotics. Drug-Food Interactions: Grapefruit juice and dietary supplements containing minerals like calcium may also work to dampen the effect of antibiotics. Drug-Disease Interactions: Novamox 250 DT Tablet 15's should not be given in the condition of colitis, glandular fever, and chronic kidney disease.
