Itrasys CF is an orally Active triazole antifungal drug that has demonstrated a broad spectrum of Activity and favorable pharmacokinetic profile. Itrasys inhibits Cytochrome P-450 dependent enzymes resulting in impairment of the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a major component of the cell membrane of yeast and fungal cells. Being integral to the proper functioning of the cell membrane, inhibition of the synthesis of ergosterol leads to a cascade of abnormalities in permeability, membrane bound enzyme Activity, and co-ordination of chitin synthesis leading to inhibition of growth, abnormal cell wall formation and accumulation of intracellular lipids and membranous vesicles.

If you are known to be allergic to Itrasys CF 200 Capsule 4's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Itrasys CF 200 Capsule 4's is a pregnancy category C drug and may cause harm to the unborn baby. However, if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Itrasys CF 200 Capsule 4's. Avoid taking fentanyl (a strong opioid pain killer narcotic medicine) with Itrasys CF 200 Capsule 4's, as it may cause severe breathing problems and can even lead to death. Do not take Itrasys CF 200 Capsule 4's if you had heart failure as it may cause severe life-threatening adverse effects. If you experience a yellow colour change of your eyes or skin, dark coloured urine, stomach pain, pale stools, loss of appetite, unusual tiredness, vomiting or Nausea, stop taking Itrasys CF 200 Capsule 4's and consult a doctor immediately as they might be symptoms of liver failure. If you have kidney, liver, heart or lung problems, inform your doctor before taking Itrasys CF 200 Capsule 4's.
