Hcqs belongs to the family of medicines called antiprotozoals Protozoa are tiny one celled animals Some are parasites that can cause many different kinds of infections in the body Hcqs is used to prevent and to treat malaria and to treat some conditions such as liver disease caused by protozoa It is also used in the treatment of arthritis to help relieve inflammation swelling stiffness and joint pain and to help control the symptoms of lupus erythematosus lupus SLE Hcqs may be given alone or with one or more other medicines It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor Hcqs is available only with your doctor s prescription Once a medicine has been approved for marketing for a certain use experience may show that it is also useful for other medical problems Although these uses are not included in product labeling Hcqs is used in certain patients with the following medical conditions Arthritis juvenile Hypercalcemia sarcoid associated Polymorphous light eruption Porphyria cutanea tarda Urticaria solar Vasculitis chronic cutaneous

Uses / Indications:

Hcqs 300 Tablet is used for the treatment control prevention improvement of the following diseases conditions and symptoms Severe and sudden onset of malaria Autoimmune diseases Rheumatoid arthritis Malaria Hcqs 300 Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed here

Interactions / Warnings:

Hcqs 300 Tablet 10 s does not respond well against all strains of malaria so consult with your doctor if you are not responding well to Hcqs 300 Tablet 10 s This medicine can affect heart health especially if a person is taking medicines including the antibiotic azithromycin An individual must consult with the doctor if they are noticing fast or pounding heartbeats and sudden dizziness This medicine cannot be used for a long duration as it may cause irreversible damage to the eye that could lead to vision problems Hcqs 300 Tablet 10 s cannot be used in persons who have heart disease heart rhythm disorder diabetes a stomach disorder an allergy to quinine liver or kidney disease psoriasis alcoholism porphyria a genetic enzyme disorder that causes symptoms affecting the skin or nervous system a genetic enzyme deficiency called glucose 6 phosphate dehydrogenase G6PD deficiency Consult with your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as this medicine could only be used if prescribed by the doctor

Side Effects:

Along with its needed effects a medicine may cause some unwanted effects Although not all of these side effects may occur if they do occur they may need medical attention When Hcqs is used for short periods of time side effects usually are rare However when it is used for a long time and or in high doses side effects are more likely to occur and may be serious Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur Less common Blurred vision or any other change in vision this side effect may also occur or get worse after you stop taking Hcqs Rare Convulsions seizures increased muscle weakness mood or other mental changes ringing or buzzing in ears or any loss of hearing sore throat and fever unusual bleeding or bruising unusual tiredness weakness Symptoms of overdose Drowsiness headache increased excitability Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine Also your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects Check with your health care professional if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them More common Diarrhea difficulty in seeing to read headache itching more common in black patients loss of appetite Nausea or vomiting stomach cramps or pain Less common Bleaching of hair or increased hair loss blue black discoloration of skin fingernails or inside of mouth dizziness or lightheadedness nervousness or restlessness skin rash Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients If you notice any other effects check with your healthcare professional
