Description:

Gudcef Cv 200mg Tablet belongs to the therapeutic classification of Cephalosporins, Penicillins. The primary composition for this medicine is Cefpodoxime 200 MG, Clavulanic acid 125 MG.

Uses / Indications:

Gudcef CV 200 Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Bacterial infections, Skin and skin structure infections, Bacterial infection, Lower respiratory tract infections, Lower respiratory tract infection, Sinusitis, Otitis, Otitis media, Urinary tract infections.

Interactions / Warnings:

Before starting Gudcef-CV 200 Tablet 10's, please inform your doctor if you have any allergy (against any antibiotic), kidney or liver problems. Gudcef-CV 200 Tablet 10's should not be given to patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance (the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption). Do not take Gudcef-CV 200 Tablet 10's on your own as self-medication may lead to antibiotic-resistance in which antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections. Consult your doctor before taking Gudcef-CV 200 Tablet 10's if you have colitis (inflammation of the colon). Consult your doctor before taking Gudcef-CV 200 Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Avoid taking Gudcef-CV 200 Tablet 10's if you are breastfeeding as it may pass into breast milk. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Gudcef-CV 200 Tablet 10's to prevent unpleasant side-effects. Gudcef-CV 200 Tablet 10's causes dizziness, so drive with caution.

Side Effects:

Upset stomach or throwing up. Many small meals, good mouth care, sucking hard, sugar-free candy, or chewing sugar-free gum may help. Loose stools (diarrhea). Yogurt or probiotics may help. You may get these products at health food stores or in some pharmacies. - For women, vaginal yeast infection. Report itching or discharge.

Gudcef CV 200 Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products: Allopurinol, Antacids, Live bacterial vaccines, Oral contraceptives, Probenecid, Ranitidine, Rifabutin, Rifampin.
