Erytop Gel is used for Acne, Bacterial infections of skin and other conditions. Erytop Gel may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Erytop Gel contains Clindamycin Topical as an Active ingredient. Erytop Gel works by reducing the pustule and papule counts in acne.

Do not use Erytop Gel 20 gm if you are allergic to Erytop Gel 20 gm or any of its components. Let your doctor know if have any liver disease, kidney disease, gastrointestinal diseases (colitis, an inflammation of the colon), and allergic conditions (asthma, hay fever, eczema). Do not use Erytop Gel 20 gm while having vaccinations with live bacterial vaccines (typhoid vaccine) since Erytop Gel 20 gm may affect vaccines' Activity. The injection form of Erytop Gel 20 gm may sometimes contain benzyl alcohol as a preservative, which can cross the placenta in pregnant and cause gasping syndrome (multi-organ failure) in the paediatric patients. Erytop Gel 20 gm is not recommended during breastfeeding, since it can be excreted into breast milk and can cause diarrhoea, candidiasis (thrush, diaper rash), or rarely, blood in the stool. Hence, Erytop Gel 20 gm should be used only with doctor's advice during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Sometimes, antibiotic medications can cause antibiotic resistance. In such cases, your doctor may prescribe other antibiotics you are not resistant to.
