Dydrogesterone is an orally Active progestogen which acts directly on the uterus, producing a complete secretory endometrium in an estrogen-primed uterus. At therapeutic levels, Dydrogesterone has no contraceptive effect as it does not inhibit or interfere with ovulation or the corpus luteum. Furthermore, Dydrogesterone is non-androgenic, non-estrogenic, non-corticoid, non-anabolic and is not excreted as pregnanediol. Dydrogesterone helps to regulate the healthy growth and normal shedding of the uterus lining. Therefore, it may be useful in the treatment of menstrual disorders such as absent, irregular or painful menstrual periods, infertility, premenstrual syndrome and endometriosis.

Dydroboon Tablet 10's with estrogens should not be used to prevent heart disease, heart attacks, strokes, or dementia. Using Dydroboon Tablet 10's with estrogens may increase the chance of getting heart attacks, strokes, breast cancer, and blood clots. In some cases, the use of Dydroboon Tablet 10's with estrogen may produce dementia among women age 65 and older. Do not use Dydroboon Tablet 10's if you are allergic to peanuts, have unusual vaginal bleeding, have or had any type of cancers (breast or uterus cancer), or undergoing estrogen plus progestin treatment. Tell your doctor before using Dydroboon Tablet 10's if you have had a heart attack, stroke, blood clot, liver problems, kidney problems, pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to get pregnant, asthma (wheezing), epilepsy (seizures), diabetes, migraine, endometriosis, lupus, heart problems, thyroid, or have high calcium levels in your blood. Use caution while driving a motor vehicle as dizziness or drowsiness may occur. If you are using Dydroboon Tablet 10's before any lab tests or biopsies tell your doctor about this as it can affect the report values. Patients with rare hereditary problems like galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucosegalactose malabsorption should not take Dydroboon Tablet 10's.
