Description:

Duoluton L 21s Tablet belongs to the therapeutic classification of Estrogens and Progestins and their associated Synthetic Drugs, Oral Contraceptives, Depot Contraceptives. The primary composition for this medicine is Ethinyl estradiol 0.05 MG, Levonorgestrel 0.25 MG.

Uses / Indications:

Duoluton L Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Reduces or stops the short-term changes of menopause Hormonal contraceptive Avoid pregnancy for up to three years Prevention of pregnancy Avoid pregnancy when taken within 72 hours of having unprotected sex Hormonal contraception Dysfunctional uterine bleeding Menopause Pregnancy prevention Painful menstruation

Interactions / Warnings:

Please inform your doctor if you have or ever had heart disease, hypertension, obesity, cancer (breast, cervix, or uterus), diabetes mellitus, liver or kidney disease, abnormal uterine bleeding as Duoluton L Tablet 21's is known to contra-indicate. Check your breast every month for changes such as if you feel lumps, see anything odd, please inform your doctor. Smoking may increase the risk of a cardiovascular event in women over 35 years when taking Duoluton L Tablet 21's. Duoluton L Tablet 21's does not protect against any sexually transmitted disease or HIV. If pregnancy occurs while you are taking Duoluton L Tablet 21's, please consult your doctor. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor. Sometimes, you may experience spotting or bleeding in between missed periods or menstrual periods. If the spotting persists, please consult your doctor. Do not use Duoluton L Tablet 21's if you are pregnant or have recently delivered a baby. If you have missed a dose or are late by 12 hours, please wear a condom for 2 days while sexual intercourse to avoid unwanted pregnancy. Do not take medicine if you are pregnant already or breastfeeding. If you have migraines, please inform your doctor, as taking Duoluton L Tablet 21's may increase your headache.

Side Effects:

Check all drugs you are taking with your doctor. This drug may not mix well with some other drugs. Avoid cigarette smoking. People older than 35 years of age andor smoking more than 15 cigarettes per day have more chance for heart disease. Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding. To protect from diseases caused by having sex, use a latex condom. - Oral: - This drug will not end a pregnancy. This drug is not for regular use to stop pregnancy. Uterine device: If you have high blood sugar (diabetes), talk with your doctor. If you have heart valve problems, talk with your doctor. If you have high blood pressure, talk with your doctor.

Medicine interaction:

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Duoluton L Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions.
