It has a molecular formula of C22H24CIN5O2 and a molecular weight of 425.9. Rabemac-DSR sodium is a substituted benzimidazole that inhibits gastric acid secretion. Rabemac-DSR is a dopamine-receptor blocking agent.

You should avoid taking Rabemac-DSR Capsule 10's if you are allergic to Rabemac-DSR Capsule 10's or proton pump inhibitors, have gastric cancer, liver disease, low magnesium level (osteoporosis), low vitamin B12, pregnant or planning for pregnancy, and breastfeeding mothers. Rabemac-DSR Capsule 10's may interact with a blood thinner (warfarin), antifungal (ketoconazole), anti-HIV drug (atazanavir, nelfinavir), iron supplements, ampicillin antibiotic, anti-cancer drug (methotrexate). Let your doctor know if you are taking these medicines. Prolonged intake of Rabemac-DSR Capsule 10's may cause lupus erythematosus (an inflammatory condition in which the immune system attacks its own tissues), Vitamin B-12, and magnesium deficiency. Intake of Rabemac-DSR Capsule 10's may mask the symptom of gastric cancer, so if you have any severe stomach pain or gastric bleeding (blood in mucous or stool) immediately consult the doctor. Tell your doctor that you are using before having a specific blood test known as Chromogranin A.
