Emty is a type of sugar. It is broken down in the large intestine into mild acids that draw water into the colon, which helps soften the stools. Emty is used to treat chronic constipation. Emty is sometimes used to treat or prevent certain conditions of the brain that are caused by liver failure, which can lead to confusion, problems with memory or thinking, behavior changes, tremors, feeling irritable, sleep problems, loss of coordination, and loss of consciousness. Emty may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Do not take Emty Oral Solution 100 ml if you are allergic to any of its contents. Do not take Emty Oral Solution 100 ml with antacid medicines. To avoid hindrance in the working of Emty Oral Solution 100 ml, maintain a gap of one hour between Emty Oral Solution 100 ml and antacid medicines. Do not take Emty Oral Solution 100 ml unless prescribed by your doctor. Talk to your doctor if there is no bowel movement or if you find rectal bleeding after taking Emty Oral Solution 100 ml. Do not take Emty Oral Solution 100 ml if you have galactosaemia (galactose indigestion disorder). Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, or if you have to undergo colonoscopy. Consult your doctor before taking Emty Oral Solution 100 ml if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; your doctor will prescribe you Emty Oral Solution 100 ml only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Emty Oral Solution 100 ml should not be given to children unless prescribed by the doctor. Do not take Emty Oral Solution 100 ml for more than a week as it may cause dependency on Emty Oral Solution 100 ml for a bowel movement.
