Voglistar MD (INN and USAN) is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor used for lowering post-prandial blood glucose levels in people with diabetes mellitus. It is made in India by Ranbaxy Labs and sold under the trade name Voglistar MD.

Voglistar MD 0.3 Tablet 10's should not be given to the patients with diabetic ketoacidosis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), intestine ulcer or partial intestinal obstructions, intestinal obstruction and chronic disorders with disorders of digestion or absorption, with conditions that may deteriorate as a result of increased gas formation in the intestine. Take Voglistar MD 0.3 Tablet 10's with caution if you have intestinal disorders, disturbance in digestion and absorption, kidney and liver problems. To treat your condition, effectually continue taking Voglistar MD 0.3 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. Please do not skip any doses or stop taking Voglistar MD 0.3 Tablet 10's suddenly without consulting your doctor as it may lead to increased blood glucose levels. Avoid taking Voglistar MD 0.3 Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breast-feeding unless prescribed. Voglistar MD 0.3 Tablet 10's should not be given to children unless prescribed by a doctor. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Voglistar MD 0.3 Tablet 10's as it might increase side-effects. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking and your health condition to rule out any unpleasant side effects.
