Tenipack is an anti-diabetic drug that belongs to a class of medications called as dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors. It works by decreasing the blood glucose levels thereby controlling diabetes.

Tenipack 20mg Tablet 10's should not be taken if you are allergic to Tenipack 20mg Tablet 10's or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before starting Tenipack 20mg Tablet 10's. Safety and efficacy of Tenipack 20mg Tablet 10's in children have not been established, so it should not be given to them. Prolonged intake of Tenipack 20mg Tablet 10's may cause acute pancreatitis (swollen pancreas). Increased risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) can occur when Tenipack 20mg Tablet 10's is added to other anti-diabetic agents or insulin therapy. In this case, your doctor may adjust the dose of Tenipack 20mg Tablet 10's. Severe allergic reactions might occur in some patients taking Tenipack 20mg Tablet 10's like anaphylaxis, angioedema (swelling under the skin), and exfoliative skin conditions. Tenipack 20mg Tablet 10's should not be used in patients with type 1 diabetes and for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis.
