Description:

Pioz is an oral diabetes medicine that helps control blood sugar levels. Pioz is for people with type 2 diabetes. Pioz is sometimes used in combination with insulin or other medications, but it is not for treating type 1 diabetes. Pioz may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Uses / Indications:

Pioz Mf G2 Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus Maturity onset diabetes Type 2 diabetes mellitus Polycystic ovary syndrome Lower blood glucose in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus Pioz Mf G2 Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed here.

Side Effects:

Signs of an allergic reaction to Pioz: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using Pioz and call your doctor at once if you have symptoms of liver damage: Nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes). Call your doctor at once if you have: shortness of breath (even with mild exertion), swelling, rapid weight gain, pink or red urine, painful or difficult urination, urinating more than usual, changes in your vision or sudden unusual pain in your hand, arm, or foot. Common Pioz side effects may include: headache, muscle pain or cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sinus pain, sneezing, sore throat.

Medicine interaction:

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Pioz Mf G2 Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Pioz Mf G2 Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products: Albuterol Alcohol Anabolic steroids Androgens Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors Anti-diabetic drugs Atypical antipsychotic medications Barbiturates Beta blockers Chloramphenicol
