If you stop taking Jardiance Met 12.5 mg/1000 mg Tablet 10's abruptly, it may increase your sugar levels which could further increase the risk of eyesight loss (retinopathy), kidney (nephropathy), and nerve damage (neuropathy). Jardiance Met 12.5 mg/1000 mg Tablet 10's should not be taken if you have type 1 diabetes mellitus, severe kidney, or liver disease. It's generally not recommended to take empagliflozin during pregnancy/breastfeeding. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Jardiance Met 12.5 mg/1000 mg Tablet 10's is only for adults (from 18 years). It is not recommended for anyone aged 85 years or older.
