Onabet Powder may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Onabet Powder contains Secnidazole Topical as an Active ingredient. Onabet Powder works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria.

Do not use Onabet Dusting Powder 50 gm in your eyes, mouth, or vagina. If you are known to be allergic to Onabet Dusting Powder 50 gm or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Onabet Dusting Powder 50 gm is a pregnancy category C drug and may cause harm to the unborn baby. However, if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Onabet Dusting Powder 50 gm. If irritation or sensitivity develops with the use of Onabet Dusting Powder 50 gm treatment should be discontinued, and appropriate therapy instituted recommended by the physician.
