Description:

Clobetasol is a topical (for the skin) steroid. It reduces the actions of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, redness, and swelling. Clobetasol Topical (Eumosone M) is used to treat the inflammation and itching caused by a number of skin conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema, and psoriasis. Clobetasol Topical (Eumosone M) may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Uses / Indications:

Eumosone M Cream is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms : Skin redness, itching, dry rash Fungal Bacterial Infections Chutneyous Chandidiasis Napkin itching Inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatosis Worm body Tinea Pedis The color of the scalp is itchy, with a pleasant swelling Thinea Churris Waiting

Interactions / Warnings:

Do not use Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm if you are allergic to any of the contents. Inform your doctor if you have/had skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine; if you have glaucoma, diabetes, adrenal gland disorder, acne, rosacea, rashes, kidney or liver disease. Consult your doctor before using Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor.

Side Effects:

Signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Although the risk of serious side effects is low when clobetasol topical is applied to the skin, you should be aware of side effects that can occur if the medication is absorbed into your bloodstream. Stop using this medication and call your doctor at once if you have severe irritation of any treated skin, or if you show signs of absorbing clobetasol topical through your skin, such as: blurred vision, or seeing halos around lights, mood changes, sleep problems (insomnia), weight gain, puffiness in your face or muscle weakness, feeling tired. Less serious side effects may include: mild skin rash, itching, burning, or redness, dry or cracking skin, thinning or softening of your skin, skin rash or irritation around your mouth, swollen hair follicles, temporary hair loss, spider veins, changes in color of treated skin, blisters, pimples, or crusting of treated skin or stretch marks.

Medicine interaction:

Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm may have interactions with anti-coagulant (anisindione, warfarin, dicoumarol).
