Flupirtine (Pruf-P) is a pyridine derivative that is in clinical use as a nonopioid analgesic. It was approved for the treatment of pain in 1984 in Europe. It is not approved for use in the U.S. or Canada, but is currently in phase II trials for the treatment of fibromyalgia.

Avoid using Pruf-P Tablet 10's if you are allergic to analgesics or pain killers. People with liver diseases, kidney diseases, and elderly people above 65 years of age may require dose adjustments. If Pruf-P Tablet 10's is given to patients with liver impairment, liver function should be closely monitored. It is advised to discontinue use, if you notice any signs of liver damage such as Nausea, vomiting, yellowed skin and eyes (jaundice), abdominal pain, loss of appetite, itchy skin, and dark-colored urine, etc.
