Information about Feliz S 5 Tablet

Description:

Feliz S (Feliz S) is an antidepressant belonging to a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). The way Feliz S works is still not fully understood. It is thought to positively affect communication between nerve cells in the central nervous system and/or restore chemical balance in the brain. Feliz S is used to treat anxiety in adults. Feliz S is also used to treat major depressive disorder in adults and adolescents who are at least 12 years old.

Uses / Indications:

Feliz S 5 Tablet is used for the treatment and maintenance of depression (major depressive disorder) in adults and children 12-17 years. It is a prescription medicine. This medicine works by increasing the level of a natural substance (serotonin) in the brain. Feliz S 5 is also used to treat severe anxiety (generalized anxiety disorder) in adults. It is also used to treat the panic disorder with or without fear of places and situations (agoraphobia). Feliz S 5 is also used to treat social phobia (also called, social anxiety disorder). Feliz S 5 Tablet is also used to treat mental illness with uncontrollable thoughts and repetitive behaviours (known as, Obsessive-compulsive disorder).

Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Feliz-S-5 Tablet 10's should be avoided in patients having epilepsy (Brain disorder in which brain Activity becomes abnormal, causing seizures), impaired liver or kidney function, diabetes, decreased level of sodium in the blood, tendency to easily develop bleedings or bruises, patients receiving electroconvulsive treatment, having coronary heart disease, suffering or have suffered from heart problems or have recently had a heart attack, having a low resting heart-rate, prolonged severe diarrhoea, and vomiting (Being sick) or using diuretics (water tablets), experiencing a fast or irregular heartbeat, fainting, collapse, or dizziness on standing up, which may indicate abnormal functioning of the heart rate, having or previously had eye problems, such as certain kinds of glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye).

Side Effects:

Signs of an allergic reaction to Feliz S: skin rash or hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Report any new or worsening symptoms to your doctor, such as: mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, or if you feel impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, hyperActive (mentally or physically), more depressed, or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself. Call your doctor at once if you have: blurred vision, tunnel vision, eye pain or swelling, or seeing halos around lights, racing thoughts, unusual risk-taking behavior, feelings of extreme happiness or sadness, low levels of sodium in the body - headache, confusion, slurred speech, severe weakness, vomiting, loss of coordination, feeling unsteady or severe nervous system reaction - very stiff (rigid) muscles, high fever, sweating, confusion, fast or uneven heartbeats, tremors, feeling like you might pass out. Seek medical attention right away if you have symptoms of serotonin syndrome, such as: agitation, hallucinations, fever, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle stiffness, twitching, loss of coordination, Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Common Feliz S side effects may include: dizziness, drowsiness, weakness, sweating, feeling shaky or anxious, sleep problems (insomnia), dry mouth, loss of appetite, Nausea, constipation, yawning, weight changes or decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm.
