Tonact EZ contains a combination of Tonact EZ Ezetimibe (Tonact EZ) reduces the amount of cholesterol absorbed by the body. Atorvastatin (Tonact EZ) belongs to a group of drugs called HMG CoA reductase inhibitors, or "statins." Tonact EZ reduces blood levels of "bad" cholesterol, such as low-density lipoprotein (LDL), apolipoprotein-B (apo-B), triglycerides, or non-high-density lipoprotein (non-HDL). Tonact EZ is used together with a low-fat diet and other treatments to lower total cholesterol in adults with familial hypercholesterolemia (an inherited type of high cholesterol). It is not known whether Tonact EZ reduces your risk of heart disease. Tonact EZ may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to this medicine or any other medicines. You should contact a doctor before if you have liver or kidney problems, severe lung disease. If you have a muscle problem, inform your doctor. Do not take this Tonact EZ 10 Tablet 15's if you have a previous heart attack or stroke caused by bleeding in the brain, have hypothyroidism, drink more than 2 servings of alcohol per day, and have a muscle disorder (fibromyalgia). The efficiency of Tonact EZ 10 Tablet 15's can be increased by taking low fat or cholesterol-containing food and drinks. Tonact EZ 10 Tablet 15's is not safe for children as safety and efficacy of Tonact EZ 10 Tablet 15's in children have not established. Tonact EZ 10 Tablet 15's has Ezetimibe which contains a sugar called lactose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, talk to your doctor before taking this Tonact EZ 10 Tablet 15's. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, then immediately inform your doctor because Tonact EZ 10 Tablet 15's contains Atorvastatin that may harm an unborn baby. If you are a breastfeeding mother, then immediately contact your doctor as it is unknown if this Tonact EZ 10 Tablet 15's passes into breast milk.
