Rivaflo is a highly selective direct factor Xa inhibitor. Inhibition of factor Xa interrupts the intrinsic and extrinsic pathway of the blood coagulation cascade, inhibits thrombin formation. Rivaflo does not inhibit thrombin (Activated factor II) and no effects on platelets have been demonstrated.

RIVAFLO 15 TABLETS 10'S should be used with caution in children. Prolonged use of RIVAFLO 15 TABLETS 10'S may cause hair loss. Regular blood tests are recommended while taking RIVAFLO 15 TABLETS 10'S to check the time taken for your blood to clot and level of platelets (blood cells). If you are known to be allergic to RIVAFLO 15 TABLETS 10'S or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to consult a doctor before using RIVAFLO 15 TABLETS 10'S. If you have a stomach ulcer, kidney or liver problems, high blood pressure, or bleeding problems, inform your doctor before taking RIVAFLO 15 TABLETS 10'S. Talk to your doctor immediately if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
