Description:

Olmighty 20mg Tablet belongs to the therapeutic classification of Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers. The primary composition for this medicine is Olmesartan medoxomil 20 MG.

Uses / Indications:

Olmighty 20 Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms : High blood pressure

Interactions / Warnings:

Do not take Olmighty 20 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to ‘olmesartan medoximil’ or any other ingredients present in it. Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, liver disease, heart problems, diabetes or kidney problems and taking blood pressure-lowering medication containing aliskiren. Also, inform your doctor if you are taking any prescription or non-prescription drugs and nutritional supplements. During treatment, seek medical attention if you experience severe, persistent diarrhoea and substantial weight loss. It is not used in children below 2 years of age, pregnant women and should be used with caution in breastfeeding mothers.

Side Effects:

Feeling dizzy. Rise slowly over a few minutes when sitting or lying down. Be careful climbing. Cough. Loose stools (diarrhea). High potassium level. Signs include feeling weak, lightheaded, dizzy, feel like passing out, or have numbness or tingling. Kidney function that gets worse.

Medicine interaction:

Olmighty 20 Tablet 10's may interact with other antihypertensives (enalapril, lisinopril, ramipril and aliskiren), potassium supplements, blood thinner (heparin), a medicine used to treat depression (lithium), non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen, aceclofenac and diclofenac), a lipid-lowering drug (colesevelam) and certain antacid (cimetidine, ranitidine).
