Description:

Monit Gtn 6.4mg 30s Tablet belongs to the therapeutic classification of Antianginal Agents. The primary composition for this medicine is Glyceryl trinitrate 6.4 MG.

Uses / Indications:

Monit Gtn Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Heart's left ventricular failure accompanying heart attack Sudden and intense vasoconstriction heart arteries Chest pain associated with restricted blood supply High blood pressure during cardiac surgery

Interactions / Warnings:

Do not take Monit GTN-6.4 Tablet 30's if you are allergic to nitrates or any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor about all other OTC medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or plan to take. If you have a kidney, drink or have ever consumed large amounts of alcohol, have anaemia, or have a heart attack. Monit GTN-6.4 Tablet 30's should be taken with caution and only if a doctor prescribes you. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before starting Monit GTN-6.4 Tablet 30's as a dose adjustment may be required if benefits outweigh the harm. Monit GTN-6.4 Tablet 30's may cause dizziness, light-headedness, and fainting when you get up too quickly from a lying position, especially when you start taking Monit GTN-6.4 Tablet 30's so please get up gradually.

Side Effects:

If you are taking this medicine for the first few times, you may get a headache, your face may feel flushed and your heart rate may go up. This indicates that the medicine is working and is not a cause for worry. The symptoms should pass. You may also feel dizzy and a little faint. Sit down or find some form of support such as a wall. Seek help from family or bystanders if you do not feel well. If this medicine makes you dizzy or drowsy, do not drive or take part in any Activity in which you need to be alert. You may feel a temporary tingling sensation in the tongue or in the mouth. This is harmless and is not a cause for worry.

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Monit Gtn Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly.
