Description:

Ismo Retard is in a group of drugs called nitrates. Ismo Retard dilates (widens) blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow through them and easier for the heart to pump. Ismo Retard is used to prevent angina attacks (chest pain). Ismo Retard will not treat an angina attack that has already begun. Ismo Retard may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Uses / Indications:

Ismo Retard Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Chest pain

Side Effects:

Signs of an allergic reaction to Ismo Retard: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Call your doctor at once if you have: a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out, worsening angina pain, fast or slow heart rate or pounding heartbeats or fluttering in your chest. Ismo Retard can cause severe headaches, especially when you first start using it. These headaches may gradually become less severe as you continue to use this medicine. Do not stop taking this medicine to avoid headaches. Ask your doctor before using any headache pain medication. Common Ismo Retard side effects may include: headache or flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling).

Medicine interaction:

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Ismo Retard Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Ismo Retard Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products: Avanafil Dihydroergotamine Dihydroergotoxine Ergonovine Methylergonovine Sildenafil Telithromycin Udenafil Voriconazole
