Inditel AM is a combination of medicines that may be used alone or with other medicines to treat high blood pressure hypertension High blood pressure adds to the workload of the heart and arteries If it continues for a long time the heart and arteries may not function properly This can damage the blood vessels of the brain heart and kidneys resulting in a stroke heart failure or kidney failure Lowering blood pressure can reduce the risk of strokes and heart attacks Telmisartan Inditel AM is an angiotensin II receptor blocker ARB It works by blocking a substance in the body that causes blood vessels to tighten As a result the blood vessels relax and this decreases blood pressure When blood pressure is lowered the amount of blood and oxygen that go to the heart is increased Amlodipine Inditel AM is a calcium channel blocker CCB It affects the movement of calcium into the cells of the heart and blood vessels As a result Amlodipine Inditel AM relaxes the blood vessels and increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its workload Inditel AM is available only with your doctor s prescription
Uses / Indications:
Inditel Am Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure This medicine works by blocking the action of vasoconstrictor agent which are responsible for increasing the blood pressure by selectively blocking the binding of angiotensin II to its binding site angiotensin receptor This medicine helps by reducing the increased blood pressure by exerting blocking actions on the angiotensin receptor Inditel Am is also used to reduce the risk of heart attack stroke or fatalities associated with heart failure in patients who are 55 years in age or older who are at high risk of developing major heart damage events unable to take ACE blockers and patients with high blood sugar level type 2 diabetes mellitus with target organ damage Inditel Am Tablet may also be used together with other medicines to treat certain conditions as recommended by the doctor It is used in combination with Antiplatelet drugs or lipid lowering drugs to reduce the risk of heart attack stroke or fatalities associated with heart failure in patients who are 55 years in age or older who are at high risk of developing major heart damage events unable to take ACE blockers It is also used with hydorchlorthiazide or other antihypertensives to treat high blood pressure
Interactions / Warnings:
Inditel Am Tablet 15 s is not recommended for people with impaired kidney function diabetes or severe liver problems Inditel Am Tablet 15 s may increase the risk of low blood pressure when taken with alcohol Inditel Am Tablet 15 s may cause tiredness or dizziness in some people Make sure you are not affected before driving Breastfeeding women are advised to consult a doctor before taking Inditel Am Tablet 15 s Avoid intake of potassium supplements with Inditel Am Tablet 15 s as it may lead to high potassium levels in the blood so the doctor may ask you to have a regular check of your potassium level Do not consume alcohol with Inditel Am Tablet 15 s as it may increase the risk of low blood pressure Taking Inditel Am Tablet 15 s with painkillers like aspirin and ibuprofen can increase the risk of kidney problems and reduced efficiency of Inditel Am Tablet 15 s
