Description:
Envas 10mg Tablet belongs to the therapeutic classification of ACE Inhibitors / Direct Renin Inhibitors. The primary composition for this medicine is Enalapril 10 MG.
Uses / Indications:
Envas 10 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure. It is a prescription medicine. This medicine works by blocking the action of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), which is responsible for the conversion of angiotensin I to the vasoconstrictor substance, angiotensin II, that results in increased blood pressure. This medicine helps by reducing the increased blood pressure. Envas 10 is also used to treat symptomatic heart failure. It is also used to prevent heart failure in patients with asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction in the left part of the heart.
Envas 10 Tablet may also be taken in combination with other medicines to treat certain conditions as recommended by the doctor. Envas 10 Tablet is used together with diuretics to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. Envas 10 is also used with digitalis to treat heart failure and patients with asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction in the left part of the heart. Envas 10 is also used with beta-blockers for the management of heart failure and patients with asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction in the left part of the heart.
Interactions / Warnings:
Envas 10 Tablet 15's should not be given to the people allergic to Envas 10 Tablet 15's, have low blood pressure (less than 90 mm of Hg), have had a heart attack, kidney disease, liver disease, pregnant women or planning to get pregnant and breastfeeding women. Besides this, tell your doctor if you have low blood pressure (hypotension), heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, or currently on dailysis. Envas 10 Tablet 15's is not recommended in neonates and children with worse kidney functioning (glomerular filtration rate <30 mL/min). Level of raised bilirubin has been reported in some cases, so patients with liver diseases (like cirrhosis, jaundice, yellowing of skin/eye etc.) should take Envas 10 Tablet 15's with caution. Do not take Envas 10 Tablet 15's with alcohol as it may cause low blood pressure (hypotension) with symptoms of dizziness, drowsiness, weariness, or sleepiness. Tell your doctor that, you are using Envas 10 Tablet 15's before undergoing any dental or other surgery. Your doctor might stop this medicine before surgery.
