Description:

Clodrel 75mg Tablet belongs to the therapeutic classification of Anticoagulants and Antiplatelet Agents. The primary composition for this medicine is Clopidogrel 75 MG.

Uses / Indications:

Clodrel 75 Tablet is used to reduce the rate of stroke and heart attack. This medicine works by preventing the blood clot formation. Clodrel 75 is also used to treat poor circulation in the legs (peripheral arterial disease) and chest pain due to heart problems, and to prevent conditions like irregular heartbeat and sudden reduction of blood flow to the heart. Clodrel 75 Tablet may also be used together with other medicines to treat certain conditions as recommended by the doctor. It is used in combination with Aspirin to lower the chances of heart attack, stroke, or blood clot formation.

Interactions / Warnings:

Indigestion medicines known as proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole should be used with caution while taking Clodrel Tablet 15's. Prolonged use of Clodrel Tablet 15's can cause bleeding problems (like nosebleeds, heavier periods, bleeding gums, and easy bruising). If you are going to have any surgery, discontinue taking Clodrel Tablet 15's 5 days before the surgery. Discontinuation of Clodrel Tablet 15's might increase the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other risks of cardiovascular events. So, do not stop taking Clodrel Tablet 15's of a sudden on your own decision. If you have had any recent stroke or heart attack, stop the intake of Clodrel Tablet 15's with painkillers like aspirin or ibuprofen as it can increase your stomach or gastrointestinal bleeding. Purpura (blood leakage under the skin) has been observed with the use of Clodrel Tablet 15's including fatal cases.
