Uses / Indications:

Carvistar 6.25 Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms: Congestive heart failure Left ventricular dysfunction High blood pressure

Interactions / Warnings:

Don't stop taking the medication without talking to your doctor first. Stopping CARVISTAR 6.25MG TABLET gradually may cause changes in your heart rhythm and blood pressure, cause chest pain, or a heart attack. Your doctor will lower your dose gradually over a period of time to help prevent these symptoms. CARVISTAR 6.25MG TABLET can cause low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia). This medication should be used with caution if you have diabetes, particularly if you are taking insulin or other diabetes drugs that may cause low blood sugar. This medication can also induce low blood sugar in babies, children and adults who do not have diabetes.Do not take CARVISTAR 6.25MG TABLET if you have asthma or similar breathing difficulties. It could make your asthma severe.

Side Effects:

Feeling dizzy. Rise slowly over a few minutes when sitting or lying down. Be careful climbing. Feeling tired or weak. Loose stools (diarrhea). Dry eyes. Using artificial tears may help. Change in sex ability. This most often goes back to normal. Allergic side effects may rarely happen.

Medicine interaction:

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Carvistar 6.25 Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Carvistar 6.25 Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products: Amiodarone Antihypertensives CYP P450 2D6 inhibitors Clonidine Cyclosporine Diabetes medications Digoxin Diltizem Insulin Monoamine oxidase inhibitors
