Mucotab Et Tablet is used for Mucus thinning, Mucus thinning due to pneumonia, Prevention of radiocontrast-induced nephropathy, Paracetamol overdose and other conditions. Mucotab Et Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Mucotab Et Tablet contains Acetyl Cysteine as an Active ingredient. Mucotab Et Tablet works by increasing the glutathione levels and binding with the toxic products of paracetamol.

If you are allergic to Mucotab ET Tablet 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Mucotab ET Tablet 10's is not recommended for children below 14 years of age. Drink plenty of fluids to thin mucus and lubricate your throat while taking Mucotab ET Tablet 10's. Severe skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome (a serious and rare disorder of skin and mucus membranes) or toxic epidermal necrolysis (skin blistering or skin peeling) have been rarely reported in some patients. However, if you notice any skin rash worsening with mucosal lesions or blisters, stop taking Mucotab ET Tablet 10's and contact your doctor immediately. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before taking Mucotab ET Tablet 10's. If you have a history of stomach ulcers or have asthma, inform your doctor before taking Mucotab ET Tablet 10's.
