Levosiz is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing itching watery eyes and runny nose Levosiz is used to treat symptoms of year round perennial allergies in adults and children who are at least 6 months old It is also used to treat symptoms of seasonal allergies in adults and children who are at least 2 years old Levosiz is also used to treat itching and swelling caused by chronic urticaria hives in adults and children who are at least 6 months old Levosiz may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant plan to become pregnant or are breast feeding If you become pregnant while taking Levosiz Tablet 10 s consult your doctor If you have kidney problems dose adjustment might be required the doctor will do it depending upon your disease s condition Please inform your doctor if you have a problem passing urine and have epilepsy fits before starting Levosiz Tablet 10 s If you are supposed to undergo skin testing the doctor might advise you to stop taking Levosiz Tablet 10 s 72 hours before the test as it decreases response to skin prick test Patients should be cautioned against getting engaged in the work which required too much mental alertness like operating machinery or driving a motor vehicle after intake of Levosiz Tablet 10 s Concurrent use of Levosiz Tablet 10 s with alcohol or other antidepressants should be avoided as it can reduce your mental alertness Cetirizine can also be taken under medical supervision by children aged 1 year and older Patients should avoid taking overdosage of Levosiz Tablet 10 s because of the increased risk of sleepiness and drowsiness at higher doses
